There has been a spate of new venues sprouting about Singapore these days, on one of my little walks today I visited a relatively new bar opened at the National Museum of Singpore - Novus.

It was a lovely place to sit down and drink, the bar itself was rather empty, though I suspect it will get crowded sooner rather than later. Anyways here are a few of the drinks I drank while I was there!

Partying Yet Again

Took a short holiday in Bangkok with my ex-project team mate; as always it was a fun affair.. flying out on a Friday we went straight to Route 66 a night club at RCA went dancing with few beers in hand until 3am in the morning; yes that is rite straight from the airport to the club, forgetting about checking in!

Spent the next day shopping around China town for some friends, but shopping is just shopping.. my main intention of going to Bangkok was to party! With the day slowly coming to an end I was looking forward to hitting the clubs again! Took a trip to a club called Escoude - unfortunately it was closed, we ended up at a place called fittingly "booze" there I was without any dinner at a place that played music that I was unable to understand; so what's a boy to do but drink! It was absolultely fun being there bopping the nite away with a Thai locals, listening to their partying their way..

With the club finally closing at 2am my friends and I made a few friends whom we decided to clubbing to another R&B place with our new found friends.. "scratch dog" at the bottom of the Windsor Hotel ended up leaving the place sometime between 5am-6am.. 'twas a shame that it was a Sunday and I was due to fly home.. *sigh* oh well heading back again at the end of November! 'til then..

What's on the Menu?

Took at trip out to Casurina Road today for lunch with my workmates, it seems at this juncture in time we are addicted to Japanese food, I'm not complaining since I'm trying to lose weight!

Anyway my lunch today consisted of Aga Deshi Tofu and some Tempura with Rice. Wasn't too bad a meal and for under SGD10 who can really complain?
